Auckland’s Sculptureum is home to a world of art, food and wine designed to inspire, uplift and entertain everyone who passes through.
- Just an hour out of Auckland, Sculptureum is a world class New Zealand attraction, with 3 sculpture filled gardens, 6 art galleries, a vineyard, an event space and a popular restaurant.
- With a unique setting amongst the sculpture gardens and art galleries, Rothko Restaurant features menus crafted to embody the fresh flavours of the region.
- Rothko got its name from one of the owner’s favourite artists. The gardens and galleries are personal reflections of Anthony and his love of art.
- Rothko’s purchasing philosophies are built on using organic, free range locally sourced products. In supporting the local community, they are able to get fresher ingredients.
- The veranda setting takes full advantage of the views over the garden – it’s a great place to sit and enjoy a meal.
- The vineyard has chardonnay and merlot grapes, amongst others. 2019 in particular was a great year for New Zealand wines.
- The restaurant is open for lunch from Thursdays to Mondays, as well as for dinner on Fridays and Saturdays – make sure to book ahead!
